Head of Bristol Film School, Freya Billington chairs a panel of filmmakers and funders discussing their different approaches to working within and adapting to the changing short film landscape in both the independent and commercial context. Looking at how storytelling has changed (remained the same?) whilst formal, exhibition and distribution aspects are endlessly evolving we will discuss traditional short film production, serial vertical drama and narrative brand content. In a time when the accessibility of kit and software makes the process arguably more democratic it has ever been, how do you work out where your film sits and then find it an audience?
